To be eligible for the CGEIT certification, candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in IT governance, including at least one year in a management or advisory role.
Candidates must also agree to the ISACA Code of Professional Ethics and pass the CGEIT exam.
Five (5) or more years of experience managing, serving in an advisory or oversight role, and/or otherwise supporting the governance of the IT-related contribution to an enterprise is required to apply for certification.
